Storage and handling requirements of various types of welding rods.

Education: Completion of an apprenticeship in welding.

Experience: One year of experience in combination welding. Heavy rail welding and repair experience are desirable.

Methods and techniques of arc, gas, MIG and TIG welding, particularly as applied to field situations.

Types of welding rods and materials and their applications. Types of welding gasses and mixtures.

Safety practices pertaining to the work, including the use of eye, respiratory and hand protection.

Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate

Previous knowledge/experience in infrastructure and concrete structures setting required

Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements

5+ years’ work experience in the construction industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role

Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents

Conceives, manufactures and adapts installation tools, when necessary, to improve repetitiveness and work hours with managements approval.

Determines work to be done on assigned jobs and proceeds accordingly.

Modifies completed assemblies and sub-assemblies, when necessary.

Performs check of fabricated items and/or checkout of systems installed.

Utilize aircraft tooling to perform precision sheet metal operations and installations.

Install interior shell panels and completes various interior operations as required.

BSME or Aero or Materials,

Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) governing aircraft certification and maintenance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical abilities

Develop engineering procedures, standards and process specification to comply with manufacturer/vendors Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and other FAA requirements

Three (3) years engineering experience in aviation

Previous experience in planning, implementing and administering engineering programs and projects

Reliability analysis skills to identify root cause of systems problems

Develops, integrates and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.

Performs, and integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

Manages supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

1+ years of experience in an engineering discipline

1+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit teams

Over 4 years of specific Program Management experience in Aerospace

Well-rounded program management skills (cost and schedule management, EVM, risk and issue management, program performance metrics and reporting, etc…)

Over 6 years of specific Program Management experience

Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

You will support reporting and communicating the health and status of your IPT at Program Management Reviews.

Demonstrated decision-making skills and ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and priorities

To qualify for the position, you must have the following requirements and skills:

Experience performing structural analysis of aerospace-related hardware, including stress analysis and structural dynamics.

Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Experience producing error-free models in Mathcad, Matlab, or Microsoft Excel

Statistical analysis for component stack up requirements.

Production support for assembly of Drive Unit components including process and tool development to achieve equipment performance requirements.

Experience in rotating machinery design, casting design, or EV powertrain design.

Demonstrated technical aptitude from concept through release and launch for production or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

Basic understanding and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (Fluency Preferred).

Drive Unit system level design utilizing parametric modeling to evaluate performance trade-offs.

Occasionally visits project sites, and reports findings to Engineers and/or Project Managers

0-2 years of related experience

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Assists with design, construction documents, plan production, maps, basic reports, and other supporting documentation

Assists with gathering background information related to a project site which includes reviewing as-built plans and mapping existing utility service
