- Knowledge Management Strategy: Assist with the development and implement a knowledge management framework to capture, organize, and disseminate critical information, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge management needs and requirements.
- Training Delivery and Facilitation: Deliver training sessions using appropriate methodologies, including instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning approaches. Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions to maximize knowledge transfer and ensure participant comprehension. Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, and make continuous improvements to the training programs.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting: Develop metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs and knowledge management initiatives.
- Change Management and Adoption: Promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the organization, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Support change management initiatives related to training and knowledge management, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of learning resources. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on accessing and utilizing knowledge management platforms effectively.
- Establish and maintain knowledge repositories, databases, and platforms to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among employees. Implement processes and tools to capture tacit knowledge from subject matter experts and convert it into explicit knowledge.
- Training Program Development: Assist with needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments and job roles. Design and develop comprehensive training programs, courses, and modules to address identified needs, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and technologies. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content, validate training materials, and ensure accuracy and relevancy. Create engaging learning materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and instructor-led training resources.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyze data to drive decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in instructional design, training development, and facilitation.
- Experience in knowledge management practices, including content selection, taxonomy development, and information architecture.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
- Required Experience: Three (3) years or more experience with a strong blend of instructional design expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of knowledge management principles.
- Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Certification in instructional design, training development, or knowledge management is a plus and Six Sigma
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Change management experience and the ability to drive adoption of new training and knowledge management initiatives.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in instructional design, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
- Computer Skills Required: Google Suite preferred; willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at the role.
- The Employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and; therefore, job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found within general office or administrative work.
- The Employee is required to read, review, prepare and analyze written data and figures, using a PC or similar, and should possess visual acuity.
