• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including employees, HR staff, and insurance providers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
What is Employee Benefits Associate Job Qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification in employee benefits (e.g. CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP)
• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or related field
What is Employee Benefits Associate Job Knowledge?
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA
• Understanding of employee benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
• Knowledge of employee benefits administration processes
What is Employee Benefits Associate Job Experience?
• Experience in employee benefits administration
• Experience in customer service
• Experience in data entry and record keeping
