Generate lens requirements, coating requirements, and optical system requirements from customer interactions and documents.

Working knowledge of optical test and evaluation equipment – familiar with wavefront measurements

Direct experience in the specification and testing of optical based integrated systems.

May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and generate process engineering specifications

Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines

Interact with customers to resolve a wide range of complex process engineering issues/problems with limited to no supervision

Design and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation

Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision

Drive package qualification activities from initial concept to production.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams with in NVIDIA and define optical package requirements.

Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related fields or equivalent experience.

5+ years optical packaging experience.

Knowledge in Flip Chip Packaging/ Optical Connector Assembly/ Optical Connector to chip attach.

Experience in using optical simulation software like Lumerical or Zemax.

J-STD Certification or experience with J-STD

IPC 620 Certification or experience with IPC-620

Knowledge of or experience with High Voltage Systems

Knowledge of or experience with lithium batteries

3+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge and ability to hand solder using proper techniques

You will use your extensive knowledge to assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs

Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)

Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)

You are willing to work under pressure to fix equipment

You will work urgently to get the equipment back up and running

You will be troubleshooting issues on a wide variety of equipment

Must have working knowledge of Boilers, Wastewater treatment plant, Chillers, and Air compressors.

Reading Manuals for equipment installations. Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Position requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment performing maintenance and electrical repairs on equipment.

A working knowledge of PLC logic and hardware is highly desired.

Safely Install, operate, adjust, and maintain industrial production, processing and building systems in support of Plant goals and objectives.

As required, support on-going capital projects in support of plant goals.

Responsible for Issue Management, tracking failure modes, addressing root cause, and verifying closure of issues from assigned owners.
