Project Management: Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the electrical contracting industry.

Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

· Minimum 5 years of project management experience of relevant projects preferred

· Own project management from pre-construction to closeout and customer acceptance

· Coordinate and present status reports, keeping management abreast of progress.

· Bachelor degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred

· Understand project specifications and customer requirements

· Responsible for reviewing specifications and bid packages to identify potential risks/exposures

Excellent technical and operational, and project management knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems within manufacturing environments

Self-supporting knowledge of PLCs, Motion Controllers, and Motor Controls, including Motor Starters, Variable Frequency, AC/DC Drives, Network Systems, and HMIs.

Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

Working knowledge of computer systems and personal computers

Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

Excellent organizational, team management, problem-solving, and motivational skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.

Advanced knowledge of electrical construction principles/ practices required.

7+ years of experience in managing electrical construction projects.

Experience dealing with self-perform work and subcontractors.

Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with internal and external entities.

Familiar with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Experience with and use of industry recognized computer project management software and managing projects with understanding and utilizing certified EVMS techniques.

Collaborate with other project managers to establish plans and objectives related to PIM Division activities. Attend management planning meetings as needed.

Familiar with applicable DOE Orders for project management, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts.

Highly Preferred: Experience with Southern California Edison engineering standards and project management requirements

Mature knowledge of medium through extra high voltage substation protection & control systems and/or physical design layout requirements.

Capable of understanding and implementing new processes/procedures with regards to Project and Program management.

Identify project risks, create a project risk register and apply project risk management and mitigation techniques

Manage internal change order processes to meet Mesa’s and our customer’s requirements

Expertise in industrial plants, power plants, electrical substations, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Azure Sphere is essential.

With a focus on DCS/PLC/SCADA system engineering, the role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation and monitoring.

Minimum 3-5 years of work experience related to DCS/PLC/SCADA system engineering activities for automation & monitoring

3-5 years of experience in electrical project management

Manages project profitability for each project in his/her portfolio of work. This includes predictive analysis and revenue, cost and profit forecasting.

Manage all closeout procedures including documentation, filing, record drawings, construction cost database input, follow- up marketing and team debriefing.

7+ years of electrical commercial construction experience with an electrical contractor.

Ability to manage/run multiple projects as required.

Strong organizational, critical thinking, judgment, decision making and negotiation skills.

Experience with remote project management (with only occasional visits to job site), preferred.

Minimum 10 years of related project management experience with an electrical contractor, required; commercial/multifamily experience, preferred.

Experience with Oracle (or other formalized project management software) and Accubid (or other estimating software) preferred.

Managing project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems.

Supervising and mentoring select project managers and assistant project managers on the project team.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
