Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Contractor Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, and have a strong background in project management within the electrical contracting industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, progress reports, and project documentation. Prepare comprehensive project status reports for senior management and clients as required.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Create detailed schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and establish key milestones for effective project execution.
- Team Management: Lead a team of electrical project managers, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Resource Management: Allocate and coordinate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project operations. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all electrical materials and equipment required for each project.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical construction. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of quality control measures, ensuring adherence to industry standards, code compliance, and best practices in electrical construction. Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare project budgets and cost estimates, monitor ongoing expenses, and manage expenditures to ensure project profitability. Conduct regular cost analyses and implement cost-saving strategies wherever applicable.
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Health and Safety: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures on all projects, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and audits, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage project budgets.
- Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the electrical contracting industry.

Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
