District General Manager In Training Jobs

Experience in retail stores at the Area Manager level, preferable one to two years of field management experience

Completed the DMIT certification course or one to three years Multi Store Supervisor experience in retail.

5+ years of management experience

General Manager, Retail Manager or Multi Unit Manager experience preferred.

Provide guidance and strategic planning for the dealership concerning sales goals.

Operates the store as the Manager On-Duty in conjunction with the management team.

Coaches, trains, and develops the Management staff under the direction of the General Manager.

Plans, organizes, and directs store activities under the direction of the General Manager.

Assists the General Manager in creating store schedules to provide adequate coverage for all aspects of the store.

Consults with the General Manager on associate and manager performance.

Assists General Manager in enhancing store’s reputation by establishing and maintaining good community relations and partnerships.

Four years or more of successful management or assistant management in a distribution center.

Represents the Company to local contractors, establishes relationships with contractor management and attend various tradeshows.

Maintain and monitor safety activities to ensure compliance with company and state regulations, DOT requirements, and safety/health standards

Manages labor, temporary labor, truck, transportation, and warehouse to meet budget commitments.

Maintains a culture where everyone in the facility is knowledgeable of safe work practices and committed to following safe work practices.

Collaborates with the Regional Sales Managers, and operations to coordinate, plan and optimize the sales activities.
