Director Of Store Planning Jobs

5+ years of experience in retail planning, inventory management, and analytics, preferably in the eCommerce fashion industry

Experience with inventory management software and tools, NetSuite preferred

Manage the forecasting and demand planning process to ensure appropriate inventory levels and reduce excess inventory

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments and with external partners

Normally requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business (or equivalent) and at least 6-10 years of diversified experience.

In lieu of this, 10+ years of experience across the industry.

Experience across the Food & Beverage project sector is preferred.

Conducts research and surveys to determine promising areas of development. Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry.

Negotiates and finalizes agreements with clients to ensure an equitable and profitable business relationship.

Acts as sponsor during project execution.

Negotiate and coordinate design and technical requirements, strategic scheduling and upfront planning, budgeting and hiring.

Review with legal department lease and contract requirements for all aspects of project.

Review with internal project managers architectural drawings, shop drawings and renderings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and communicate schedule and budget updates to Executive Leaders

Directs all construction teams and architects regarding the design/look of the stores to meet specifications

Efficient in coordination and project management skills, with ability to prioritize

Control the budget and follow up the cost of each project in collaboration with Management & central SDP

3+ years of experience directly related to role requirements (ideally with watch & Jewelery brands)

Store design & Construction Projects Management

Account Management - Contractor & Supplier

Control and manage project schedule – milestone, opening date

Oversee Project Management of all materials and sampling to ensure all materials meet brand standards and are reviewed/approved internally.

Assist and educate project management team on negotiating terms, pricing etc. for project-specific vendors.

Capable of leading a team & performance management

Oversee all department scheduling, most notably delegating projects to internal and external project managers managing the bandwidth of the teams

Assist and teach project managers to resolve timeline issues that arise on projects

Oversee the external partner that manages the Concept book to ensure it is kept up to date

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture and/or construction management.

Manage project schedule, budget, store planning reports/presentations, invoices and contracts.

Organize and manage bid submittals, negotiation and awarding of consultants.

Liaise with partners in internal departments including IT/security, Retail, Wholesale, Finance, Logistics, VM, etc. to support project execution and meet deliverables.

Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Sketch Up.

Previous experience working with millwork shop drawings, construction drawings, material selection, space planning and layouts.

Management of ongoing schedule timelines and budget tracking and communicate when budgets are at risk

Organization and issuance of project documentation via/on internal management platforms

Minimum 3 years in retail project management

Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, Architectural or another related field from an accredited program is preferred

High organizational skills and strong attention to detail
