Director Of School Leadership Development Jobs

Excellent oral and written communication skills delivered through a variety of mediums.

Utilize expert facilitation skills in conducting leadership and professional development programs for mid to senior levels across the organization.

Manage in-person and virtual leadership programs.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends in leadership development.

Build common leadership and professional skills for all employees.

Two (2) years of supervisory experience in the training and leadership development field is required.

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, and Outlook.

Experience in instructional design, program management, and technology-driven learning is essential.

7-10 years of relevant experience. At least 7 years in Learning and Development leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience in leader development programming.

Demonstrated experience in introducing innovative learning methodologies and technologies.

Organized with demonstrated attention to details; able to manage, prioritize, and bring completion to multiple projects.

Building and implementing leadership development programs from inception to execution.

Lead a team of 3 talent development professionals to drive impact across new managers, emerging leaders and director populations

15+ years of professional experience with direct experience in leadership development and organizational effectiveness

Experience managing and coaching a team of learning professionals

Experience as a facilitator, learning designer, content creator, and people leader

Own the enterprise onboarding process and programs

Consultative team player with the ability to work with and influence people at all levels, including the executive team

Budget and grants management experience, including contract negotiation and administration.

7+ years of experience in educational administration, training, or municipal government and full-time faculty experience in a university or college setting.

Manage the budget and resources for the training programs.

Masters degree in education, public administration, or a related field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Develop and execute the strategic plan for municipal leadership development programs.

School Experience : High school experience and exposure to a diverse set of school models demonstrating strong student outcomes preferred.

Fellows Selection : Participate in the Case Study and Final Interview components of the Fellowship selection process.

Organizational Leadership : Has led or significantly contributed to the fiscal and operational health of a non-profit organization.

Can be based anywhere in the United States

Experience: Five (5) or more years of professional management experience.

Knowledge of mandatory training/education requirements for clinical and non-clinical healthcare personnel.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Provides leadership and/or consultation to managers in planning, implementing and evaluating new or continuing education programs.

Advises and consults with leadership on leadership development, talent management, training, complex organizational development and change initiatives to meet strategic objectives.

Conducts needs assessment to identify gaps in individual skills that can be addressed through broad based training interventions.

Strong systems/project management skills (proficiency in Excel or Sheets)

Creates and manages systems for team collaboration and project management (e.g., meeting structures, document management, project plans, etc.)

Demonstrated knowledge of adaptive leadership skills

Demonstrated success developing instructional leaders towards performance management standards (Assistant Principals or Principals)

State Principal Certification and/or Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field

Tailoring a provided development roadmap (scope of necessary skills) to align to KIPP NJ/Miami leadership competencies and job domain skills.
