Director Of Plant Science Jobs

Must have previous plant leadership experience or large Operations Manager role with multiple departments reporting directly

USDA experience is a plus

Direct and manage all plant operations for production, sanitation, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

Set monthly objectives for departmental managers and schedule daily/weekly/monthly review meetings to review performance KPIs and open actions.

Develop and manage the facility budget to achieve the annual cost objectives aligned with the business plan.

10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations

Experience with web-based project management tools (such as Workfront, MS Project) a plus

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a medical writer and/or content developer/editor for a medical education/communications company

Quickly acquire up-to-date knowledge of specific disease states, as needed

Possessing strong problem-solving skills to independently and quickly deal with unforeseen issues to ensure that timelines are consistently met

Excellent editorial (editing and writing) skills, preferably in online publishing and text manuscript development; familiarity with AMA style

Effective written and verbal communication skills (English; additional languages a plus)

5+ years of manufacturing management experience - Ideally as a Plant Manager or Operations Lead within Packaging/Print/Manufacturing

Manage a team of circa 100 Employees

Manage and direct the day-to-day functions of the manufacturing operations in New Jersey.

Determine capacity requirements vs forecast and recommend needed capital expenditures to support business growth

Bachelor’s Degree educated with 10+ years of Packaging experience

Member of the Emergency Management committee

Prior experience constructing and commissioning a new facility is desired.

Experience in Customer facing programs and audits, with Auto Industry experience preferred.

5+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, preferably at an agency, consulting firm, or large in-house media activation team

3+ years of leadership experience in managing projects and driving them forward

Some hands-on-keyboard experience implementing scientific solutions yourself is a major plus

Basic coding skills (Python, SQL) are a major plus

Understanding the client’s overall business objectives and translating them into a campaign and measurement strategy

6+ years of professional experience growing plants or alternative crops such as algae
