Director Of Inventory Procurement Jobs in New Jersey

Collaborate with senior management to define purchasing strategies.

Competitive base salary depending on experience $120K-$150K per annual!

5+ years of Procurement & Vendor Strategy leadership experience (direct reports in purchasing).

Industry experience in wholesale construction supply (ideally electric, lighting, plumbing/HVAC, construction commodities).

Highly desired experience working with Lighting Agencies and Suppliers, i.e. Hubbell, Wattstopper, Leviton, Cooper, etc.

Experience with negotiating pricing, navigating pro forma invoices for materials, encouraging future business, removing under-performing vendors, and selecting new ones.

• Be the point of contact for management for all RFP, RFQ and RFI requests

• Develop detailed reports for management

• Manage the entire RFP timeline and process including outreach activities

• Analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and policies

• Support the ongoing ERP implementation

• Identify and suggest vendors for the different bids and draft complex RFX’s (RFI, RFQ, RFP)
