Locations available to commute to Hackensack, NJ - 1-2 days on-site per week preferred!

Job Details

Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criteria

• Industry experience in wholesale construction supply (ideally electric, lighting, plumbing/HVAC, construction commodities).
• Bachelor's Degree and/or MBA.
• Highly desired experience working with Lighting Agencies and Suppliers, i.e. Hubbell, Wattstopper, Leviton, Cooper, etc.
• Willingness to travel in the NY and NJ area for meeting on-site with vendors.
• Experience with negotiating pricing, navigating pro forma invoices for materials, encouraging future business, removing under-performing vendors, and selecting new ones.
• Ability to evaluate vendors based on credit terms and financial stability, as well as quality of products & services.
• 5+ years of Procurement & Vendor Strategy leadership experience (direct reports in purchasing).
