Job Description

The Director of Procurement is responsible for efficiently driving the procurement process from end-to-end for all departments with the goals of encouraging competitive sourcing, diversifying, and expanding the vendor pool, maximizing cost savings, and strengthening vendor relations. The Director of Procurement will act as the key point of contact for internal business units regarding the sourcing of new and existing products and services. This is a fully in office position, with flexibility as needed.


Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and policies

• Support the ongoing ERP implementation

• Identify and suggest vendors for the different bids and draft complex RFX’s (RFI, RFQ, RFP)

• Manage the entire RFP timeline and process including outreach activities

• Regularly communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the function or business area

• Be the point of contact for management for all RFP, RFQ and RFI requests

• Participate in vendor evaluation meetings, facilitate communications of awards, prepare debrief session, assist Legal with the preparation of contract documents

• Manage, setup, and process all purchase orders and manage the documentation of all procurement policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all company policies and guidelines

• Develop detailed reports for management

• Review, monitor and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place regarding the procurement process
