Work collaboratively with the teams of Arts Education and Arts and Well-being to develop a department-wide impact measurement and assessment strategy.

Conceptualize and manage the execution of reports that raise awareness of the Arts Center’s work.

Implement and manage internal systems for conducting ongoing outcomes measurement and assessment

Outstanding analytical ability and advanced statistical knowledge with the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data and extract relevant insights

Manage CFA’s master calendar including internal departmental calendars, public-facing calendars, and university scheduling software.

Hire, train, and manage student staff that provides onsite event support.

Experience: 4-6 years’ combined experience in education or project management, including significant fine arts teaching experience.

Facilitates and attends professional development and specified training to enhance skills, instructional strategies, and program management.

Assists in the development and management of budgets to support and maintain quality district fine arts programs.

Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education, as well as District policies and procedures.

Skill in judgment and decision making; considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

Project Management Certificate or related credential preferred.

Five or more years of related experiences in arts education, creative youth development, K-12 education and/or nonprofit youth program management.

Relevant experiences in at least one of the studio disciplines offered at WMCAT.

Best practices of community arts education programs serving teens.

Prepare and manage program budgets and studio resources responsibly.

Bachelor's degree in arts education, education, visual or media arts, social services, or another relevant field of study.

Prior experience with curriculum development and instructional design.

·Fluency with Microsoft Office and comfort with Tessitura or Customer Relationship Management system

·Overseeing income and expense tracking for all Education Department programs.

·Substantial teaching experience required (need not be in a traditional classroom)

·Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·Familiarity with educational theory, school environments and an interest in history

·At least five years of experience in a museum, theatre or classroom setting.

Support staff to ensure sound financial management and operational practices are in accordance with city policies and procedures.

Identify, cultivate, and assist in recruitment of board and advisory committee members.

Recruit, retain, and mentor staff, and provide thoughtful guidance to the senior leadership centered on team cohesiveness, employee growth and collaboration.

Support and advise on facility maintenance, improvements, and to assess and implement new organizational and programmatic strategies.
