5+ years of professional experience, including time developing ESG strategy and implementing ESG initiatives that tie to strategic business objectives.

Experience in sustainability in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Experience in ESG reporting, including third-party ESG ratings (e.g., EcoVadis CDP).

Deep knowledge in sustainability, climate change, ESG topics, and current trends.

Director of Sustainability Position Requirements:

Sound understanding and experience in life-safety practices, facilities operations, and facility management.

Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering preferred.

Familiarity with facility management software and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) systems.

The ideal candidate will be an agile individual that can manage multiple tasks, with an attention to detail

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in facilities operations with 5 years of leadership experience, working with direct reports.

Knowledge of standards and statutes of regulatory agencies including OSHA and Environmental Protection groups.

Minimum of 1 years of Division I Intercollegiate Athletics or professional athletics event and operations experience required

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must be insurable

8+ years of experience in a Facilities Management, with 4+ years of supervisory experience

Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management in a fast-paced environment

Experience in coaching team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets

Develop and maintain a performance management system to measure and improve the performance of the corporate operations team

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field

Responsible for managing and maintaining GHG performance. Components include:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field, e.g., sustainability, environmental management, environmental analytics, environmental informatics

7-10+ years' experience in a sustainability leadership role with at least 2 years as a people manager

Understanding of sustainability practices and requirements in international markets

Familiarity with leading sustainability standards, frameworks, disclosure systems, and certifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Sustainability reporting (at minimum GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD, CDP, and NFRD/CSRD)

5+ years of relevant work experience in facility operations or management including risk management and scheduling.

Maintain all risk management protocols. Ensure departmental Emergency Action plans are up to date.

Bachelor’s Degree in sports management, business administration, leisure/recreation, or relevant field.

Manage facility operations of the 3 recreation centers.

Partner with facility managers to identify projects, ensure that daily cleaning is performed, and schedule building maintenance.

Collaborate with varsity coaches, athletics administration, and building managers to schedule building hours and court schedules throughout the year.

Knowledge of government procurement/ contracting practices, water efficiency strategies, project management and cost estimating methods

Working knowledge of technical software applications (e.g. energy accounting and management, AutoCAD, GIS)

Water management – storm water, potable, irrigation (permits, water quality fees, fee credits, reductions)

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data collection and analysis

Experience in a facilities organization of similar size, scope, and scale in an institutional or Higher Education setting
