3 years of experience in working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system

Experience with field-based work in POPs and datacenters

Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software

Mandatory 2 week training in Colorado at start of the project. All expenses will be covered.***

Strong time-management and prioritization skills.

Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.

Support determining system and rack level electrical power requirements, hardware placement, installation, move, replacement, and removal activities.

Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.

Provide onsite 24x7/365 rotation coverage and incident response for data center facilities services.

Support performing monthly maintenance on generators with training.

Leadership, management, coaching, and development of Microsoft full time employees across datacenters in your Metro

Ensure financial management of your metro including the development of detailed budgets, forecasts, and management of operational and capital spend

Management and oversight of all vendor/partner contracts and relationships including leased-facility landlords, IT and CE service providers, and partner support teams

Collaborate with global and regional management teams and contribute to improvement programs

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.

5+ years experience leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees across multiple disciplines and platforms.

3 years+ experience with risk management, vulnerability assessments for data center

Excellent organizational direction, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.

Working knowledge of Security Operation Center (SOC) development/management is a plus.

Analyze and oversight of scheduling and staffing requirements for area of responsibility.

Support program managers and facilitate security project deliverables; devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, improve the overall operational security.

3 years+ experience in data center physical security or security operations

Proactively review schedules and avoid conflicts when possible. Identify, coordinate, manage expectations, and offer alternatives when defining customer solutions.

Collaborate and negotiate effectively with others and seek guidance from management to identify delegates to deliver results.

Manage programs associated with area of responsibility.

Demonstrate conscientiousness on cost adheres to budget requirements; keep costs reasonable and contribute to staying within budget.

Manage the assigned projects or programs to meet service delivery objectives and escalate to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles.

Manage relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure that all expectations are clarified, understood, documented, and met.

Management of Country specific Revenue, DW and Consumption KPIs and collaboration on get well plan when underperforming.

Ten plus years of experience influencing and managing customer relationships in data center environment.

Extensive market knowledge in your sales area.

15+ overall years of experience in Finance at technology companies; with 7+ years of managing a team

Develop business process and system improvements and support broader Finance process and automation initiatives

Build and maintain strong partnerships within the Company, including mentorship and development of a Datacenter Ops Finance team

Bachelor’s degree or MBA (or equivalent experience)

Experience with leading ERP systems, SAP a plus, and tools, including visualization, with strength in process and system improvements

Dynamic interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence across all levels within and outside the company

·Perform hardware installations (rack / stack) and cable installations (routing, terminating, structured cabling), including troubleshooting and testing

·Also, perform hardware decommissions and cable removal

·Prepare and coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments

·Compare packing lists with purchase details to ensure accurate make, model, and quantities are received and processed

·Carry out daily housekeeping checks of the data halls, and record findings

·Serves as the first responder to investigate any issues or concerns relating to the Data Center systems

3 Years of Experience in Palo Alto firewall installation and management

Conduct implementations, conversions, and upgrades in a manner consistent with Standard Operating Procedures within company maintenance windows; including change management procedures

Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, project managers, and stakeholders and provide feedback on projects status, milestones and risks.

8 Years of experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting converged IP networks

8 Years of knowledge of core networking concepts Vlans, VRFs & VPNs

8 Years with advanced knowledge of routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF & BGP

Oversee, implement and ensure configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, and configuration documentation

Prior experience managing geographically dispersed teams; ability to handle all staffing matters from recruiting, requirements development, training, career development, and escalations

Customer Experience training or certification

8+ Years of Datacenter Experience and experience leading a team of Engineers

Strong knowledge of data centre design, DCIM and cabling

Managing and building data center sites across New Jersey

Maintaining and improving datacenter documentation

Working with the team on new build-outs/datacenters

Replacing hard drives/memory/transceivers and other hardware related tasks as required by other teams

Knowledge of construction techniques and terminology, including the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and requirements documents is essential.

Technical review and analysis of the lease and colocation datacenter space from external providers for compliance with Microsoft requirements.

OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience

OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical engineering experience.

OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience.

5+ years’ experience in consulting engineering with minimum of 3 years’ experience as lead engineer.
