Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security, or Criminal Justice, or Organizational Management or equivalent education/experience

Master's Degree in Homeland Security, or Criminal Justice, or Organizational Management or equivalent education/experience

10 or more years of experience in physical security, safety, law enforcement within a multidisciplinary team

5 years of experience managing security professionals.

Certification in Physical Security, i.e., Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) within 2 years of hire

Responsible for conducting security assessments in your local area.

You will set your own schedule and availability.

You are required to provide your own transportation.

Commissioned base pay, you will keep 70% of every consultation!

Must be former military, law enforcement, or private security/ private detective. Combat MOS or special operations preferred.

Former Military must provide DD-214 with Honorable Discharge.

Develops and manages programs for electronic access control, campus-wide surveillance, alarms management and emergency notification

Develops comprehensive quality assurance process for electronic systems and physical security programs. Reports to senior university management on system audits.

Campus security monitoring: Oversees management and monitoring of internal resources relative to security system needs.

Administrative skills preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs preferred

Performs security audits to identify security vulnerabilities and safety concerns

Experience with managing alarm access systems or video surveillance systems is required

Knowledge of CCTV, fire and access control systems

Promotes org-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies.
