3 years of experience in managed care contracting for Medi-Cal with a health plan or large provider delivery system required.

3 years of Medi-Cal managed care contracting experience in Southern California market.

Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.

Severs as the lead contact representing the Contracting department as a subject matter expert for SBHIP’s contract documents and requirements.

Analyzes, identifies, implements and manages changes to project scope, schedule and resources.

Works with providers and their related business personnel to negotiate and manage provider contracts.

4 years of experience working in a managed care environment with specific experience in BH program and project management.

Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations or clinical guidelines related to program and project development.

2 years of experience and aptitude for working in a highly matrixed, mission-driven organization required.

Experience in a government or public environment.

Knowledge and experience as Supervision and Program Management paradigms.

Engage volunteers, WIA workers, and students for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices.

Control the program: Write reports on the program for management and for funders. This is inclusive of monthly Tribal

Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control risk management.

Ensure that personnel and patient files for YNBHS program are properly maintained and kept confidential per PPM and HIPAA requirements.

Manage all other Grant(s) project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.

Maintain knowledge of local services and resources available to provide to clinicians as needed.

Coordinate with counterpart at OPHS and all program managers on policies, meetings, data collection as needed.

Provide clinical supervision and oversight for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Provide assistance with planning, interpretation, and scheduling for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Attend all scheduled meetings that are necessary for the function of the CLR.

Maintain confidentiality of records and information in accordance with HIPPA privacy guidelines and regulations
