They are responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as providing companionship and emotional support. Detailed Job Description Direct Care Workers are responsible for providing direct care services to individuals with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities. They may also be responsible for providing transportation, administering medications, and providing assistance with medical appointments.
