About The Opportunity

One of the agencies of the largest secretariat in the commonwealth of Massachusetts is currently looking for an Adult Direct Care Worker. They offer services and support individuals with intellectual disabilities and children with developmental disabilities.

You will provide direct care services and assist them with the activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Organizing transportation to appointments, supermarkets, etc.
• Helping clients with ambulation and mobility as needed
• Supporting clients with self-care, such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth
• Providing support, encouragement, and companionship by engaging clients in activities

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is required
• Must have a valid, current driver's license
• Dependable, reliable, and caring
• Must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
