Direct Care Worker / Mental Health Counselor

About The Opportunity


  • You will be responsible for supporting the clients who are unable to perform routine daily activities without assistance
  • They work with adults to connect them with an array of employment and day program supports, community living and other residential aid, and family support
  • One of the best healthcare organizations in Massachusetts located in Woburn, MA is currently in need of a lot of Direct Care Worker / Mental Health Counselor to join their growing team


Direct Care Worker / Mental Health Counselor Responsibilities


  • Accompanying clients on trips, such as medical appointments
  • Performing personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties
  • Assisting clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs, and back
  • Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients


Direct Care Worker / Mental Health Counselor Qualifications


  • Applicants must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
  • Dependable, reliable, and caring
  • Caregiving experience with adults is highly preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification
