Franklin County Direct Care Worker Needed - $20-24/hr


Our client was a state-run facility for mentally disabled people located in the North of Springfield in Orange, MA


They were considered an innovative and progressive facility for managing the state's developmentally disabled population at the time.


They are seeking potential candidates who are also into physical activities and sports and will enjoy working here.

Primary Duties Include


  • Maintain client confidentiality and records
  • Delivering medication, reporting concerns to supervisors, and providing physical assistance when necessary
  • Aid in daily living activities, such as self-care and hygiene, leisure activities, and social skills
  • Partnering with patients in the facility performing recreational activities


Requirements And Skills


  • Must have daily access to a vehicle
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
  • Dependable, reliable, and caring
  • Comfortable with the assistance of patients needing direct care
