Data Steward Specialist Jobs

Conduct and effectively handle special assignments for management as requested.

AA degree or higher in Business or equivalent work experience.

Some experience working with large datasets.

Basic Excel skills. Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Ability to work under tight schedules, and effectively manage and prioritize multiple work assignments.

Self-motivated and with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.

Support proactive and reactive change management activities for data values and the structure/use of data.

Create and implement new data management systems (40%):

Analyze current state of data management in the Engineering Department (20%):

Two years previous work experience, preferably in maintaining data quality, resolving data conflicts, reporting statistics, creating data presentations.

Basic programming knowledge is a plus.

Knowledge: Practical working knowledge of data governance and stewardship roles. Have a general understanding of technical and scientific topics.

5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on data management and stewardship

Advance the adoption of data standards and agreed data management processes

Communicate requirements and limitations for access and use of data in their domain

SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata experience

Data mining skills of SQLServer Platform

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A local candidates with less than 3 years experience.

Hybrid - Must be in the St. Louis area to attend periodic onsite meetings (no exceptions)

US Citizen or Green Card
