Job Description

Description

As a Data Steward Specialist, you are the responsible for onboarding clients into R1's Revenue Performance Solutions application. This process involves working directly with client IT to acquire data files, validating that data, and then importing it into our application. You will continue to own the client technical relationship post implementation. Sr. Analysts also work closely with the sales team to conduct assessments with potential clients. Other duties include identifying and understanding trends in our client data, creating reporting for internal stakeholders, and performing ad hoc research for functional counterparts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full client implementations – acquiring data, importing data, validating data, and getting the system ready for go live, managing your own deliverables to timelines
  • Managing a relationship between Client IT to collaboratively work towards data that meets R1's data specification
  • Applying a deep understanding of healthcare data to solve problems for internal and external stakeholders
  • Data research and analysis – writing queries, analyzing results, identifying trends
  • Presenting results of research to non-technical stakeholders that are both internal and external
  • Scripting and automating of data related processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Our ideal candidate is passionate about solving problems with data, detail oriented, collaborative, a great self-learner, and appreciates a workplace culture that balances fun with professionalism.
  • Experience querying, validating, and analyzing data in SQL or a similar language.
  • Experience in a client facing role (serving internal or external customers okay)
  • Experience having difficult conversations with stakeholders (internal or external)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with healthcare revenue cycle data
  • Experience with 835 data a strong plus
