Manual and automated reverse engineering, vulnerability assessment, and malware analysis

Gather information, formulate reviews, and conduct extensive research of best practice security solutions and processes

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Understanding of controls requirements for SOX, GDPR, CPRA and other privacy laws

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM

Prepare and maintain security standards and procedures.

Enhance the security training and awareness program for company employees.

Research, develop knowledge, and document findings of recommendation justification in Excel for community review, and ultimately in CIS Workbench directly

Become familiar with the CIS selected Benchmark and the cybersecurity related justifications for recommendations within it

Become familiar with the following software applications which are core tools for the BMDT: CIS Workbench, Jira, and Confluence

Work with appropriate BMDT Cybersecurity Engineers to understand various Benchmark recommendations and their rational

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Experience conducting research on threat detection and prevention techniques powered by artificial intelligence is preferred.

Familiarity with Risk Management Framework and the Assessment and Authorization processes

Experience with Windows products and a basic knowledge of UNIX operating systems

Primary responsibilities can include identifying and assisting in the remediation of threats, vulnerabilities, and maturing our security awareness training program.

Participate in security architecture reviews and third-party risk management reviews.
