Job Description

Midland Security Strategy & Consulting LTD is a global advisory firm, headquartered in London, that helps its clients compile and implement effective cybersecurity strategies. We are currently looking for two resources out of Miami, Floria that will join our team and work in close contact with our American clients. Based on your performance during the internship period, you may be offered to join us as a full-time Junior Cybersecurity Consultant.


About the role

This 6-months fully remote paid internship will allow you to have hands-on experience on how our consultants work. The activities that you will carry out under the guidance of your Team Leader include:

  • Threat analysis and risk assessment
  • Asset inventory
  • Delivering security awareness training to the clients' human capital
  • Compiling effective cybersecurity policy, including disaster recovery policy


You will work in a team of 5-6 consultants on a 20hr/week flexible schedule.


Requirements

  • Willingness to educate yourself
  • Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively
  • Strong passion for cybersecurity and understanding of the basics of it: understanding of the most popular cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, NIST-800)


Although not strictly necessary, a degree in IT, Computer Engineering or similar fields will be highly appreciated.
