Maintain the maintenance requirements of assigned schools/facilities in a geographic zone through work orders, preventative maintenance requirements, emergency calls, etc.

The hours for this position include availability between 7:45 – 3:45, the woodworking schedule is being determined.

Perform skilled work of painting and plastering to maintain school buildings and related facilities.

Manage communication with dispatch, other craftsmen, supervisor, and administrative staff.

You’ll work for a leader in the industry in all areas of the nursery growing operation. This may include:

Pruning plants using shears or automated pruning equipment

Lifting and moving plants of various sizes so that they are spaced appropriately

You’ll learn what a high-quality plant means to Monrovia.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Experience with wood processing tools and equipment (preferred)

Experience with domestic and exotic solid woods and veneers (preferred)

Working knowledge of woodworking and manufacturing including measuring and use of millwork drawings (preferred)

Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to implement solutions quickly
