Participates on multi-disciplinary treatment team for the purposes of program evaluation development and case management consultation.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements

Completes clinical assessments to determine course of action and to plan treatment, and evaluate the ongoing progress of program participants.

Develops/implements treatment plans in collaboration with client, outlining desired treatment outcomes and intervention strategies.

Maintains clinical documentation of all services provided and client contracts made from intake to discharge.

Ensures client confidentiality/rights are maintained.

This includes directors at SCDC headquarters.

Supervises security, custody, and control of inmates, counseling them as necessary.

Serves as duty warden and in the capacity of the warden during his/her absence.

Supervises the implementation and executing of laws, policies, rules, and regulations, as well as operating procedures including OSHA regulations.

Writes policies and procedures for a level ii institution.

Supervises maintaining the sanitation of the institution, buildings, property etc.

Two (2) years of responsible clerical, secretarial, or administrative experience.

Serves as the Administrative Assistant to assigned units, Associate Wardens and Warden's Administrative Assistant.

Prepares letters, memos, reports and notices for distribution.

Assist with IRC projects, plans, coordinates and supervises special projects, programs and activities as directed.

Take and transcribe minutes for all meetings.

Order office supplies for institution.

Plans electrical work including repairs to high voltage equipment and systems.

Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams and makes take-offs.

Requisition’s materials and parts needed.

Makes emergency repairs to electrical system and equipment.

Performs on-the-job training of inmates.

Must successfully complete eight (8) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire

Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of agency sanctioned programs and specialized housing.

Develop and implement pre-release case plans in collaboration with the client, identifying discharge outcomes and potential intervention strategies.

Assist the program coordinator ii with the hands-on implementation and oversight of specialized programs.

Ensure client's confidentiality and client's rights are maintained.

Participate in town hall meetings.

Provide counsel to inmates in groups or one on one.
