Corporate Lending Analyst Jobs

Work with Portfolio Management to complete the closing process

Communicate internally as well as with customers directly on financial analysis or account management issues

What We Have To Offer

Assist with the preparation of credit requests on a timely basis providing critical views on the business, amendments and restructures including:

Detail credit issues, performance and industry trends

Analyze compliance with policy and underwriting guidelines and work with PMs to provide recommendations to improve structure and mitigate risks

Experience/Knowledge of Credit, LIBOR or SONIA

Initiate initial funding on new deals and restructurings; manage the funding process with Corporate Treasury, syndicate lenders, etc.

Manage pipeline of assigned closing transactions with potential for multiple transactions closing in a single day

2-3 years of experience in Syndicated Loans

1-2 years of experience with Loan IQ

Solid skills with Microsoft Office Excel: (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

Perform project planning, coordination, and management on multiple projects

Knowledge and understanding of the captive finance and EV ecosystem products and process is preferred

Professional business analyst experience, including planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, and communicating requirements

Conduct research and benefit analysis

Aid in facilitation of gathering requirements

Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role

5+ years of Fair Lending Analytical experience

Experienced in statistical data analysis who excels in reviewing a high volume of product level data on a monthly/quarterly basis

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of Python, SQL and Tableau

Enhance and improve the second line of defense fair lending analytics program

Aggregate and synthesize data sets to perform statistical reviews for disparate impact across portfolios, products and models

Professional Skills, Education And Experience

Preparing and maintaining transaction pipeline and reporting, including asset management requests.

Tracking corporate policies and programs, trainings and certifications.

Securities offering compliance (e.g., blue sky laws tracking, renewals and fees).

Tracking corporate and affiliated entities qualifications, licensing and other state filings.

Coordinating with board directors on the review and completion of compliance and reporting certifications and forms.

Relationship Management: Establishes, develops and manages internal and external relationships.

Portfolio Management: Actively monitors portfolio companies to identify risks and opportunities that may impact overall performance.

Evaluating the Firm’s credit monitoring database and data capabilities and identifying system modifications or changes to current data processes

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance or accounting

2-4 years of work experience within the Financial Services sector or strong internship experience

Knowledge and understanding of financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements

Moderate banking or finance industry experience

Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance or accounting or similar post-degree work experience

Demonstrates strong judgment and sound credit skills;

Strong oral and written communications skills;

Analyze credit and financial information for prospects and existing clients;

Build financial models to support financing transactions;

Participate in preparing credit memos for new and existing loans;

· Meet regularly with Credit Analysts and Manager in order to discuss potential deals in pipeline.

· Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.

· Evaluate potential transactions in strict adherence to Sabadell's risk appetite and underwriting policies

· Bilingual in Spanish and English.

· Strong command of accounting rules and financial concepts.

· Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or progress towards designation is preferred but not required.
