Description


The Corporate Accounting Analyst role located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma is responsible for providing accounting support to various business units. This may include booking journal entries and accruals, preparing financial statements and performing analysis and reporting. In addition, the analyst is responsible for verifying that all related financial transactions are properly recorded and the associated account reconciliations are completed.


A successful candidate should have strong analytical, communication and organizational skills since collaboration with multiple internal organizations and external Federal agencies is required. The candidate should also be able to balance multiple requests and responsibilities at one time and prioritize tasks effectively. Showing motivation to pursue process improvements and a willingness to learn and apply new technology are also important.


If you are selected as the Corporate Analyst, you may work with SAP FI/CO/AP/HR, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and StudioX, in addition to supporting special projects, assisting with changing workloads and providing additional corporate accounting support as needed.


A successful candidate should have strong technical accounting, analytical, communication and organizational skills.

Your Responsibilities May Include


The Corporate Accounting Analyst primarily supports internal business units by providing timely and accurate accounting support, reporting and analysis for a variety of accounting topics. Other responsibilities include reconciling accounts, preparing reports and responding to outside agency and internal business unit questions and/or ad hoc requests.


Basic/Required


  • 1+ years of direct experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, other related business discipline, or foreign equivalent


Preferred


  • Intermediate level of proficiency using and reporting financials from SAP
  • 1+ years of experience with General Ledger accounts
  • Understands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business
  • Ability to apply technical accounting standards and requirements
  • Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
  • Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
