Obtains clinical approval from nursing management prior to admission of the resident.

Must have the ability to successfully relate and respond to the needs of management, employees and residents.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in long term care.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and OBRA regulations.

Must have good problem solving skills and good communication skills.

Assures payor source is clear prior to admission. Coordinates with the Business Office to assure follow through.

Connect daily with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.

Experience in health care sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education preferred.

Experience in managed care or insurance preferred.

Maintain a working knowledge of all State and Federal requirements for dialysis admissions.

Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use.

Minimum of 6 months experience in patient registration in a hospital or medical setting preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology

Knowledge of various health insurance programs

Receive all admission calls, emails and faxes from referral sources for assigned markets

Excellent time management and prioritization skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.

Provide a monthly report to Senior Management about relevant admissions-related data, including referrals, admissions, and discharges.

Accurately complete all necessary reports for the management of programs in accordance with the law, administrative code, and Spectrum360 policies.

A Master's degree in special education, social work, psychology, counseling, or another related field is preferred.

Five or more years of relevant experience.

Experience with neurodiversity and those who identify as neurodivergent.

Proven sales experience with a background in healthcare preferred
