Community Wellness Advocate Manager Jobs

Experience in day-to-day program management, including budgeting, KPI tracking and reporting, SME/contractor coordination and communication, and event management

Starting Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hour – depending on education and experience.

Expedite the resolution of client’s issues regarding benefits, coverage, eligibility and pre-authorizations, pre-certifications and reimbursement requests.

Designs and Presents Wellness Annual Plans to the appropriate management team of assigned clients for approval.

Provide electronic copy of meeting minutes to clients within 24 hours of a meeting.

Maintain a ticket resolution rate of 91% of SLAs during regular season and 85% during Open Enrollment.

Create and submit wellness communications as assigned by supervisor.

Print customers communications, pack supplies for client events (including open enrollment sessions) and print/bind presentations as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle-related topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, stress reduction and chronic conditions.

Assists Client Management team by providing program information as requested.

Support Customer Service as needed: answers incoming calls; assists customers with program enrollment and program operation questions, and benefit eligibility questions.

Access text messaging platform (Sherpa) to conduct assigned Wellness Advocate responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in health promotion, health education, nursing, athletic training, nutrition, or other health-related field.

Certification from or concurrent enrollment in an accredited professional health coach training program preferred.

Maintains educational materials in various hospital locations or resource centers.

3 – 5 years of experience preferred in building community partnerships

A high level of computer skills to compile data groupings, spreadsheets and presentations

Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point

Minimum Length and Nature of Experience Required:

Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

Three or more years of experience leading or managing wellness programs

Registration: Wellness or fitness certification

Coordinates community health and wellness activities in the community.

Monitors activities within the community to evaluate trends and opportunities for the health system and makes recommendations for new program development.

Represents the organization at various community meetings and events. This may include interactions with community leaders or stakeholder organizations.

Should be highly skilled in: leadership or coaching, conflict resolution, time management, cooperation/teamwork, developing positive professional relationships.

Two years experience providing direct services to persons with developmental disabilities or in community outreach or other social service settings.

Communicate with family members, care providers, case managers

Bachelor's Degree preferred but can substitute for experience in relevant field.

Strong written and verbal skills.

One year of continuous, verifiable experience in a relevant field such as rehabilitation, retail, production, or food service.

Manage staff and delegate responsibility as needed
