Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required by location management

Minimum Position Qualifications & Education Requirements:

Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

1 year proven refrigeration/HVAC experience and satisfactory overall performance

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics

Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.

CFC certification (licenses are a plus)

Ongoing training with the potential for advanced certifications & licenses (fees paid by EMR).

Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years

Strong mechanical aptitude (must pass mechanical aptitude test)

Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds

Perform leak checks and refrigerant management.

Provide feedback to management on performance reviews

Provide input to supervisor and management towards maintenance best practices

Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

Two years Refrigeration/HVAC/ Electrical Technical School training or 6+ years’ proven refrigeration/HVAC experience and satisfactory overall performance

Advanced technical training or related technical certifications preferred

Partner with store management team members on maintenance of equipment

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with commercial refrigeration and HVAC

Experience using Refrigeration control system. Emerson CPC preferred

Under minimal supervision, install, pipe, evacuate, and startup refrigeration cases, compressors, and related components

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Four years of full-time experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, OR;

Knowledge of practical mathematics and some physics and chemistry.
