Detailed Job Description A Career Advisor is responsible for providing career guidance and advice to individuals. This includes helping individuals identify their interests, skills, and values, and then using this information to develop a career plan. Career Advisors also provide job search assistance, resume and cover letter writing, and interview preparation. They may also provide career counseling, career exploration, and job search strategies. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations

• Ability to assess individual needs and develop appropriate strategies
• Knowledge of job search strategies and resources
• Ability to provide guidance and support to individuals

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, human resources, or a related field
• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, human resources, or a related field preferred
• Professional certification in career counseling preferred
• Previous experience in career counseling or related field preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of career development theories and practices
• Knowledge of job search strategies and resources
• Knowledge of career counseling techniques
• Knowledge of labor market trends
Job Experience
• Previous experience in career counseling or related field preferred
• Previous experience in job search assistance preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Provide career guidance and advice to individuals
