Responsibilities for this role will be:

MSc or PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology or Decision Sciences

A high interest in the financial services sector

Excellent time management and task prioritization skills;

Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or Cloud computing (Databricks/Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS);

Effective written and oral communication skills;

Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages;

Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;

Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.

Conduct in-depth qualitative interviews with high-level executive and other applicable stakeholders.

We may conduct candidate interviews virtually (phone and/or via Zoom) and/or in-person for this role.

Engage with portfolio management teams on topics related to investment decision-making, behavioural finance, cognitive biases, trading, and risk

Prior research experience in social sciences (ie. psychology, quant psychology)

Responsibilities for this role will be:

Develop analysis and research of internal PMs to ensure continual improvement to analyzing investment decision making

Prepare reporting and analytics for investment teams

Provide management with statistical findings, explanations, and conclusions

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or 3+ years of work experience in data or financial analytics

3+ years of work experience in data or financial analytics

3+ years of work experience with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.

2+ years of work experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation

Knowledge of financial analysis in a healthcare setting

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related degree

5+ years of experience in consulting or analytic roles

Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven interpersonal skills and ability to interact collaboratively with internal business partners across multiple departments and business segments

Collaborate with stakeholders responsible for setting financial targets and operational strategies for healthcare affordability programs

Understand and interpret key drivers of health care trends (i.e. medical cost, utilization, etc.)

Develop presentation skills as a core member of the consulting team.

Bachelor's degree from a leading academic institution (experience with Behavioral Health Economics)

Understanding and experience of the US Healthcare system

Passion and experience for behavioural economics

1-2 years professional experience with a track record of taking ownership and driving results.
