Behavioural Science Analyst Jobs

Our client, a highly regarded multi strategy hedge fund is looking to add to its Risk and strategy team with a specialist in Cognitive and Behavioural analysis.

This person will bring a new angle of analysis and data research to the team utilising their proven skills and understanding of cognitive bias, decision science and/or quantitative psychology.

Responsibilities for this role will be:

· Develop analysis and research to ensure continual improvement to investment decisions

· Prepare reporting and analytics for investment teams

· Contribute to the continual development of the behavioural risk computation framework

· Engage with portfolio management teams on topics related to investment decision-making, behavioural finance, cognitive biases, trading, and risk

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A high interest in the financial services sector
• MSc or PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology or Decision Sciences
• Outstanding quantitative, statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong skills in Python and SQL
• Excellent and relevant academics with strong data analysis skills
