Behavioral Health Program Coordinator Jobs

Knowledge and experience as Supervision and Program Management paradigms.

Engage volunteers, WIA workers, and students for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices.

Ensure that personnel and patient files for YNBHS program are properly maintained and kept confidential per PPM and HIPAA requirements.

Manage all other Grant(s) project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.

Program coordination duties for the Dental Benefits Manager (DBM) Managed Care Program

Participate in contractually required monitoring, and operational review auditing for the plan management

Coordinate and maintain the State Fair Hearing (SFH) process for the DBM Managed Care Program

Participate in meetings and meeting scheduling procedures for the DBM Managed Care Program

Communicate program deficiencies to the Plan and to the MLTC DHHS Program Manager

Review and prepare written and oral summaries on state and federal legislation when requested by MLTC

The ideal profile is someone"outgoing", with experience with event planning, strong written skills, organized, and interest and in the academic environment.

·Administrative management of all aspects of the Global Health Department.

·Manage department electronic documents and data storage, and file dissemination.

·Organize routine and special department events, facilitate event logistics, support guest speakers and other guests.

·(10%) Other duties as assigned by the global Health Department Chair.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Experience working within a Medicaid managed care environment and/or working with vulnerable populations in community behavioral health settings

Working knowledge of OARs and CCO requirements pertaining to youth continuum of care, and the delivery of youth services and supports

Communicate with youth behavioral health system partners regarding reporting as per contract requirements and reporting associated with CCO contractual obligations.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a program specialist/coordinator in behavioral health and/or social services

Working knowledge of System of Care Values and Wraparound Principles

Maintain knowledge of local services and resources available to provide to clinicians as needed.

Coordinate with counterpart at OPHS and all program managers on policies, meetings, data collection as needed.

Provide clinical supervision and oversight for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Provide assistance with planning, interpretation, and scheduling for the Clinician Lead Community Response (CLCR) initiative.

Attend all scheduled meetings that are necessary for the function of the CLR.

Maintain confidentiality of records and information in accordance with HIPPA privacy guidelines and regulations

Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning that is crucial for childhood early development.

MRR-MFLCs will also benefit from:

Face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families (Individual, Couples, Family, and Children).

Visibility at assignment, supporting military-connected students, parents, and staff.

Promote creativity and positivity through approved materials.

Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events.

Utilize quality data to identify process changes that will improve individual patient and population management

Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.

Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments and medical consultations.

Answer telephones, and direct calls to appropriate staff.

Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.

Interview patients to complete documents and forms such as intake and insurance forms.

Identifies high-risk needs and prioritizes case management services.

Possesses knowledge and ability to implement appropriate interventions, facilitate psycho-educational classes, individual and group psychotherapy and supportive groups for Veterans/support systems.

Must be a self-starter and able to manage a full panel of patients both remotely and in person.

Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

Ability to utilize critical thinking skills and time management principles in developing effective work plans to achieve goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to communicate clearly and maintain professional appearance and composure with all types of individuals including faculty, management staff and others.

Two to five years of experience interacting with clients, customers and/or patients in a complex environment.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of hospital and clinic organization preferred.

Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and diverse tasks.

Previous experience in project and/or grant management.

1-2 years professional experience in international development and/or global health is preferred but not required.

Superb organizational skills and attention to detail is a necessity.

Outstanding communications and writing skills in English.

Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Experience and interest in global health.

Together with the Program Manager ensure AI enabled solutions implemented by the Selikoff Centers are operating at an optimal level.

3 years of related experience required

Monitor and evaluate the supervisee’s assessment, diagnosis and treatment decisions and providing regular feedback.
