3 years of experience in managed care contracting for Medi-Cal with a health plan or large provider delivery system required.

3 years of Medi-Cal managed care contracting experience in Southern California market.

Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.

Severs as the lead contact representing the Contracting department as a subject matter expert for SBHIP’s contract documents and requirements.

Analyzes, identifies, implements and manages changes to project scope, schedule and resources.

Works with providers and their related business personnel to negotiate and manage provider contracts.

Provides staff assistance to higher level management on program issues.

Principles and practices of public administration and program management, including program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Prioritize and effectively manages multiple assignments and programs.

Successfully utilizes effective verbal and written communication skills.

Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to develop recommendations.

Organizes, supervises, and monitors specialized health-related services and activities.

Experience in the management of high-level organizational initiatives.

3 years of experience in project coordination on high level projects/programs required, preferably in a managed health care organization.

Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.

Experience working with school based mental health.
