Overview An Aviation Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of aviation projects. They are responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget, and that all safety and regulatory requirements are met. They must have a strong understanding of the aviation industry and its regulations, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detailed Job Description An Aviation Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of aviation projects. They must have a strong understanding of the aviation industry and its regulations, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Aviation Project Manager is responsible for developing project plans, budgets, and timelines, and for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. They must also ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met. The Aviation Project Manager is also responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing regular updates on project progress. Skills Required• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong understanding of the aviation industry and its regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in aviation project management
• Professional certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is preferred
Knowledge
• Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and standards
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
• Knowledge of safety and risk management
Experience
• 5+ years of experience in aviation project management
• Experience in managing teams and coordinating with stakeholders
• Experience in developing project plans, budgets, and timelines
• Experience in providing regular updates on project progress
