5 years progressive manufacturing / operations management experience

Direct and manage daily plant operations for production, maintenance, engineering, quality assurance, safety, and production control.

Manages departmental activity to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, procedures and standards

10 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in a manufacturing and/or related industry

Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles

Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, extreme attention to detail, with strong operations acumen and experience.

Thorough knowledge of automotive quality systems, requirements and “best-in-class” practices.

Exhibits a professional presence with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

10-15 years of experience in advancing leadership positions within operations in the automotive industry.

Coordinate manufacturing, purchasing, distribution, and logistical operations over multiple facilities, partnering with other Directors and management.

Ensuring that environmental programs are in place and managed effectively through practices and controls.

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing operations group, sales group, and distribution group.

Provide direct supervision, training, and development to employees.

Develop capital spending budgets for operations facilities and equipment, and ensure projects are completed in accordance with the budget.

Generate opportunities for non-intercompany revenue streams for manufacturing and distribution.
