Associate Accounting Analyst Jobs

Assist the VP of Finance in tracking and reporting portfolio investment performance and real time management requests

Work with the VP of Finance and multiple fund administrators to ensure timely distribution of quarterly financials

Support the VP of Finance in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and regulatory filings

Minimum 4-6 years accounting experience required (public accounting and/or fund accounting experience a plus)

Multitask and manage/prioritize own workload to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Assisting in records management of company vehicles and maintenance equipment

2+ years of related accounting experience

3+ years of related administrative experience

Industrial, manufacturing, construction or related industry experience a plus

Manage collection efforts and associated functions

Prior experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications- excel and keyboard skills

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

Are fulfilled by hands-on responsibilities and working in an organized fashion

Bachelor’s degree: business/accounting/finance emphasis preferred

Experience with accounts payable, financial reporting and/or audits

Time management & ability to meet weekly deadlines (for invoicing, timesheet entry, etc.)

Assist with different billing / invoicing requirements across business-units

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Accounting or Business studies and 1-2 years’ experience preferred

Prior experience using accounting software (Sage Intacct is preferred but not required)

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Organizational skills to track status of multiple weekly tasks

Answer questions from budget managers and other stakeholders regarding expense details as requested, including running reports in the OBI Reporting System.

Assist with managing the IT Procurement responsibilities for the department cell phones and computing equipment.

Assist with other administrative responsibilities as necessary and assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent and two years’ work experience.

Strong interpersonal skills, a customer service orientation, sound judgment, and an attention to detail.

At least two years of relevant work experience.

2 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience within real estate or construction

Strong Excel and Power BI skills

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel spreadsheets

Active involvement in day-to-day operational accounting activities

Perform professional accounting work including the examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation, and verification of accounting/financial reports

Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries

Experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management and/or business

Assist with annual Form 1099 reporting and associated record-keeping requirements

Maintain supplies for finance team operations

Assist the Controller and finance staff with general ledger reconciliations and special projects as needed

2+ years of relevant work experience

Basic knowledge of accrual accounting

Ensure all inter-company billings, cash applications and monthly confirmations are reconciled and recorded per group for month end requirement

3+ years of relevant professional experience. Wines and Spirits industry experience, a plus

Strong systems knowledge and acumen

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in SAP and Concur preferred

Oversees the General Accounting function, which includes all legal-entity accounting. Review and process entries, accruals and deferrals for accuracy and appropriateness.

CPG experience working with retailers (i.e., Target, Walmart, Kroger, etc.)

Direct experience closing month-end books

General accounting, reconciliation, finance, or related experience

Valued, but not required skills and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (or its global equivalent) from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

2-4 years professional work experience (minimum)

Pay Rate :$35-38/hr. on W2 (Without Benefits)
