ST. LOUIS TRUST & FAMILY OFFICE is seeking an accounting professional to join our Operations team. This position involves accounting, bookkeeping and vendor management work, specifically in our growing client bill payment/expense categorization service area. There will also be involvement in preparing client cash flow statements. The role is collaborative with Operations, Client Service and our Management Team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

  • Sharp attention to detail with pride in delivering accurate, timely work
  • Able to multi-task and address competing priorities effectively, including handling interruptions and meeting deadlines
  • Experience with accounts payable, financial reporting and/or audits
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Quicken and/or Sage Intacct
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to research and identify solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree: business/accounting/finance emphasis preferred
  • Advanced Excel abilities and familiarity with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Preparing client cash flow projections and statements in collaboration with Client Service team members
  • Investigating/questioning unusual account activity/bills when needed
  • Coordinating with outside vendors, contacts and other advisors on behalf of client teams
  • Coordinating tax information/document gathering
  • Paying bills for designated clients, including obtaining approvals, processing payments and reconciling account statements
  • Creating, updating and/or reviewing reports for client teams
  • Downloading and categorizing expense transactions for assigned clients
