Agricultural and livestock knowledge in the context of sustainable upland management.

Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Procure and supervise contractors to carry out work on site safely and legally to deliver the management plan targets.

A bachelor's degree and four (4) years of responsible administrative/management experience in a correctional environment.

An associate degree and six (6) years of responsible administrative/management experience in a correctional environment.

This includes directors at SCDC headquarters.

Supervises security, custody, and control of inmates, counseling them as necessary.

Serves as duty warden and in the capacity of the warden during his/her absence.

Supervises the implementation and executing of laws, policies, rules, and regulations, as well as operating procedures including OSHA regulations.

Qualifications For An Assistant Animal Control Warden

Must have a current and valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test administered by the City of Edinburg at the city's expense
