Warden Of Fort Dodge And North Central Correctional Facilities

This is a non-merit position with the Iowa Department of Corrections.

This position serves as the Warden of the Fort Dodge and North Central Correctional Facilities. Fort Dodge Correctional Facility a male medium-security facility located in Fort Dodge, Iowa. North Central Correctional Facility is a male minimum-security facility located in Rockwell City, Iowa.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, five (5) years of management experience in a correctional, mental health, mentally disabled, or juvenile correctional or training facility, and demonstrated administrative ability and leadership. Wardens serve at the pleasure of the Director. Equivalent work experience or graduate coursework may be substituted.
