It Asset Management Technician Jobs in Florida

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or asset management software

Asset Management Strategic Plan Implementation

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two years of ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap software experience

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical staff when conveying complex technical concepts

Digitizing utility assets into enterprise GIS

Create and maintain knowledge articles related to Asset Management and Repair & Redeployment processes for use by Support

Oversee device refresh of assets and their return to the Asset Management Depot (AMD)

High School diploma required or equivalent work experience; Bachelor Degree preferred

3+ years’ experience required in similar field

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Offered for full time roles, non-full time eligibility in select provinces.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Information Technology / Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, or Business) or mix of education and experience

General working knowledge of asset management technologies, principles and best practices

Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management tool is a plus

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Basic understanding of financial budget management and processes

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Manage day-to-day IT inventory/asset operations.

Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.

Two (2) years of full-time paid experience in a related field

Work closely with Information Technician specialists to ensure proper IT equipment lifecycle.

Work with IT teams on projects concerning the configuration of new equipment and

Prepares and submits asset/inventory reports as required.
