High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in housekeeping in a luxury hotel in a senior management position, OR:

Perform all reasonable requests assigned by the management team.

Manage scheduling of regular deep cleaning for all guestrooms as well as the Front of House and Back of House spaces.

Attend the weekly Owner’s meeting and manager meetings.

Manage all third party and contract employees that fall under the purview of the Housekeeping Department.

Manage budgetary and capital expenses.

Develops and directs the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the department; prepares and manages assigned budget.

Manages all and maintains issuance and cleaning of all staff uniforms

Manages all and maintains lost & found policy and procedures.

Manages all safety and OSHA compliance for housekeeping and laundry operations

Use of specified computer applications involving word processing, queries, data entry and/or standard report generation.

4 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience

Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the hotel’s Housekeeping operations

Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans

Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies

Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff

Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. helpful
