Airport Lounge Supervisor Jobs

Support operational safety and security responsibilities when acting as a representative of airport management.

Assumes the role and responsibilities of the Division Manager-Landside Operations during his or her absence.

Essential job duties and responsibilities for the Airport Operations Supervisor - Landside includes but not limited to:

Plan, schedule, and assign work; trains and evaluate operational employees in accordance with airport and City policies, rules, and regulations.

Identify and anticipate operational safety and security concerns by inspecting airport landside properties and operating areas while monitoring radio communications.

Command operational activities and the Emergency Operations Center by following the Airport Emergency Plan and airport rules and regulations.

Maintain current state approved Responsible Alcohol Management certification and/or Food

Demonstrates management and leadership skills

Multi-Tasking – ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track others.

Monitor number of alcoholic beverages served to passengers and alert management to potential problems

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all required regulatory agency requirements

Previous accounting & managerial experience a plus

Provide support to Operations Manager in regard to hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training new employees.

Assist Operations Manager in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports as required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Assist in the supervision of location staff including delegating, coaching/developing, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with all company standards.

Assist in the supervision of ticket inventory, cash flow, reports, and audits to prevent loss through theft, error, or carelessness.

Management experience in fine dining, hotel, or other upscale hospitality venue of at least 2 – 4 years

Excellent communication and presentation skills with a range of audience including front line employees, clients, and corporate management

Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) and management staff

Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of guest service

Financial experience and business acumen skills

Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of MS Office products

Maintaining current state approved Responsible Alcohol Management certification and/or Food Handlers / Managers Permit, if applicable

Monitoring number of alcoholic beverages served to passengers and alert management to potential problems

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all required regulatory agency requirements

Ability to cooperate with peers, customers, and members of management of diverse nature who may hold divergent views

Coordinating with Lounge Manager to reorder liquor and food inventory for assigned customer or lounge

Coordinating with Lounge Manager to resolve service issues requested by the guests in assigned customer or lounge

Document performance issues into case management system

Develop skills of front-line co-workers by coaching on performance, as it relates to customer service and products

Experience leading and influencing a team and customer service experience

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience collaborating and working alongside Union personnel

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Review various plans, legal requirements, and related information to ensure compliance with regulations and equipment specifications.

Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience working in an Airport or aviation environment is preferred.

Experience working with airport systems such as, but not limited to, boarding bridges, baggage handlers, and lighting is preferred.

Specialized building trades experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing is preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.

Experience utilizing CCTV and video management systems.

Proven track record of successful project management.
