Creating strong communication and teamwork with management, hourly staff, and the MML Team via SOPs, Avero notes, emails, and verbal communication.

Other job duties as assigned.

Overseeing the overall pastry department's quality from procurement, and production to execution daily to ensure successful, delicious, consistent, and profitable services.

Responsible for pastry department scheduling, hiring, training, retention, mentorship, and development

Monthly inventory and analysis – finished by the 3rd of each entering month – including sysco, segovia, gaucho, abco, etc.

Working service side-by-side as needed to support your team as well as constant mentorship and training.

Housing Offered: Not at this time. Must live in area (Summit County)

o 2 to 5 years of similar working experience

o Strong relational and communication skills

o Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Punctual.

Status: Full-time, year-round, salaried, exempt position.

Assist with coordination and execution of special events such as retreats, family weekends, parties

Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, and weekends

Support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities

Experience with training, basic financial management and customer service

In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations

Culinary education and/or on the job training, hotel experience preferred

Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring

May manage other key culinary leadership rolls including supervisor and other less senior Sous Chefs
