Gis Systems Analyst Jobs in Arkansas

Knowledge and experience using Data Analytics and Visualization platforms such as Power BI;

Excellent Geographic Information System (GIS) software skills, including the ability to customize software;

Knowledge of basic transportation/land use planning and civil engineering principles;

Use of concise, efficient, and effective interpersonal and communication skills - virtual, oral, and written;

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.

Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision;

Data management and support for handheld GNSS units using Field Maps for ArcGIS, Survey123 for ArcGIS

Experience And Qualifications For Success

Maintain a collaborative work environment between project managers and GIS staff

Help ensure quality of work is consistent with SWCA's standards and practices alongside other GIS team members

Familiarity with ArcGIS Online or Portal hosted feature service application

Help design, create, maintain, and QA/QC geospatial databases using ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, and peripheral software

Work with internal Business Partners and other IT teams to develop use cases and requirements for potential new projects and applications.

Extensive hands-on experience with Esri's GIS solutions, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Server, and SDE.

Experience using relational databases, particularly Oracle Spatial and Oracle SQL with GIS.

Deep knowledge of spatial data, related models, formats, coordinate systems, and conversions.

Great understanding and prior experience with Linear Referencing Systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to good visual skills for cartographic presentation.

Utilize ArcGIS Pro to perform advanced geospatial analysis and data management tasks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide GIS support

Extensive experience with ESRI Online, including web map creation and application development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex GIS concepts and findings

Experience in designing and running reports from GIS databases

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Position : GIS Analyst(100% Remote)

• knowledge of the Microsoft suite

• Creation, QA/QC and analysis of GIS data.

• Effective communication of data error remediation with GIS editors.

• Detailed notes and tracking of progress during publication process.
