Key Role:
Work with clients and peers to build and maintain a high performing, Cloud-based zero-trust network access capability using the Zscaler solution, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. Develop highly scalable and resilient solutions to meet our client’s strategic goals and operational needs, including implementation of user and device-based conditional network access, network micro-segmentation, and organizational specific network access policy. Leverage knowledge of network security, routing, and switching by developing the next generation of Cloud-based, zero trust network access solutions. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with designing and deploying advanced support of enterprise networks and security solution architectures
- 1+ years of experience with Zscaler, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX
- Public Trust
- Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, DoD STIG, and FedRAMP
- Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and Public Key Infrastructure
- HS diploma or GED
- 8+ years of experience with network engineering or network security engineering
- Experience with integration of security tools to provide data enrichment or expand capabilities
Additional Qualifications:
- CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCP Certification
- Ability to understand how various systems interact with each other
- Experience with other Enterprise security products, including McAfee, Tenable, and CrowdStrike
- Experience with Office 365 applications and Teams collaboration
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic OS issues
- Zscaler Certification
- Experience in interacting with tools through RDP, web-based UI, SSH, and CLI
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and L2 protocols
- Knowledge of core Zero Trust concepts and methodologies
- Knowledge of authentication and identity concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
